Our Mission
The Menen advances education, environmental responsibility, and social justice through visual and performing arts. We engage artists, youth, elders, and communities in creative practices that preserve cultural memory, inspire dialogue, and promote collective action toward a more just and sustainable future.
Our Approach
Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, we uses the natural environment as a foundation for healing of mind, body, and spirit. Through visual and performing arts programs, ceremony, and education, we address pressing social and environmental challenges while creating meaningful platforms for emerging and developing artists to grow, share their work, and serve their communities.
